CST462 Service Learning Reflections
In this service learning class I had the opportunity to engage with my peers and have engaging discussions about the impacts we may be faced with due to the new Artificial Intelligence revolution. These discussions were an important part of my experience and allowed me to take in many new ideas from classmates and look at issues from a different perspective. However, the most impactful part of this class was serving with my site. At my site I got to contribute to open source software and complete bug fixes, ensuring the applications continue to operate in their expected capacity. With my little professional experience with C++, and the massive code base, getting up to speed with what the software did and how it was designed was quite challenging at first.
