Our team's project planning has gone well. We set up a time to meet on discord and within the meeting we were able to compile sources, notes, and assign tasks to each member of the team. The process went smoothly, though ideally next time we'd have more time to plan and complete the project.

One TED presentation I watched was about self-assembling transistor materials, presented by Karl Skjonnemand. The presentation was very interesting and overall, very engaging. The topic was explained in a way that would maintain a watcher's interest and the technology was truly interesting. The use of a visual aid also helped to get the speakers point across. Another activity this week was the presentation skills video and reading. One thing that was explained in the reading was the use of visual aids and props. As I explained in my TED talk review, I found the use of visual aids helped the audience understand the concept being explained and made the presentation more engaging. Diagrams and other charts along with PowerPoint slides are good visual aids as well, however PowerPoints shouldn't be read verbatim. The final activity this week as OLI module 10. This module allowed me to put skills learned from previous OLI modules into practice. I was able to use conflict recognition, active listening and assertion messages to identify and respond to various conflicts. These skills are very useful and can make teamwork much more powerful.
